A
webinar is a training session over the Internet. We
plan on offering one webinar a month, usually on Saturday
mornings (Watch our web site for details.) We plan on
limiting the length of each webinar to a maximum of
two hours. A maximum of 15 attendees are permitted.
For those customers unable to attend a live webinar,
each webinar will be recorded and made available for
playback from our web site using the Windows Media Player.
Remember that each webinar is limited to 15 attendees.
Preference will be given to:
-
Attendees where there is more than one customer at the
same site. That is, where two or more customers get
together at someone's home or office and watch the webinar
together (this counts as only one attendee).
-
Attendees whose software support contract is current.
-
If
your support contract is not current, there is a $50
charge for each webinar you wish to attend, payable
before the start of the webinar.
What
you will need to attend a webinar:
-
High-speed Internet connection. Note that you do not
have to have AristoCAT installed on this computer.
-
To hear what is being discussed and to ask questions
you will need either a telephone (this will be a long
distance call) or computer speakers and a microphone.
The microphone you use for audio sync will work fine.
What
you will find helpful (but not necessary):
-
One computer with the Internet connection so that you
can watch what is being presented and a second computer
with the AristoCAT software installed so that you can
perform the same functions. If you don't have a second
computer available you will still be able to switch
windows between the webinar screen and your AristoCAT
software.
-
If you are using a telephone rather than computer speakers
and microphone, a hands-free telephone will give you
more freedom.
Multiple
Attendees at One Site:
If there
are two or three attendees, it is recommended that a
separate computer have the Internet connenction with
speakers and microphone. The attendees can then gather
around this computer and work on their computers.
If
there is a large group of attendees at a site, you will
need:
-
The computer connected to the Internet and an LCD projector
attached to the computer and a screen to project the webinar
on.
-
A speaker phone so that each attendee can hear the webinar
and ask questions. Or a very good set of speakers and
a microphone that can pick up all of the voices in the
room.
If
you wish to attend the webinar,
send an e-mail to support@aristocat.com with the subject
line of "AristoCAT Webinar Attendee" as soon
as possible before the scheduled webinar.
On
the day of the webinar, approximately 15 minutes before
the start of the webinar, we will send you an e-mail
with a link to the webinar web site. You must click
on the link so that you can see my screen. Also in the
e-mail will be a telephone number with an access code.
If you are using a telephone, you will dial the number
and enter the access code. You will then be able to
hear my voice, as well as the voices of the other attendees.
You
should log on at about 10 minutes before the start of
the webinar and you can wait until a couple of minutes
before the start of the webinar before you call in.
Important Note: The webinar will start at exactly
at the scheduled time. I will be available 15 minutes
before the start of the webinar to answer any questions.
You can log on and send a text message with your question
or you can call webinar telephone number and ask any
questions you may have.
Within a
week after the webinar, we will e-mail attendees the
documentation for NCRA points, which can often be used
for state CE points. However, we can not guarantee that
either the NCRA or your state will grant the CE points.
There will probably be a charge by the NCRA and your
state to get the CE points. Important Note: In
fairness to everyone, you must be present for the entire
webinar before we will send you the CE points documentation.
CE points
are not available if you view the recorded webinar at
a later date. You must be present for the entire live
webinar.
